The Eyre Place student accommodation complex was designed as a testing ground for the ideas put forward in the parallel thesis, see link below, which explored the effect of architecture on the individual and social wellbeing of students living in university accommodation. Using the research gathered in the first part of the thesis the final section of the text proposes its own example of student housing built to the standards that put forward earlier using techniques evidenced throughout and with constant regard for the worrying mental health statistics that were the primary motivation for the thesis's inception.
